LAITZ & SPARKELZ XMAS / NYE NIGHT

This is a Belated post on the Sparkel & Laitz Party we had goin down at our beloved rainbow crib last New Year's eve.

Attendees donned their most grotesque personas to our xmas abode and painted the rainbows all kinds of sinister.

We were fortunate to have our party graced by the presence of......

Uncle Saint Neon.

Adam Lambert

Ball Eater Muncher

Ironman.

Resident prostitute.

Mermaid Buddha.

Smiley Snowflake MissFrost

hostess DramaQueenDiva

Tina Gaga.

TheFly Tai.

Urban monkeys

Walking (drunk) Dead

Creepy Darkcorner Uncle (with weird erected contraption between thighs.)

And last but not least.. the Nutcracker Jocks.

Literally.
Cracked my silver reflective nuts into a million pieces all over the rainbow floor.

Sigh.

There goes a nice pair of nuts.

MOTHER NATURE VIOLATED

When tragedy strikes....

Do what your instincts tell u...

Snap Pictures.

The housemates return home and we are immediately greeted by the sight of fallen plant on floor.
Dirt scattered. Leaves ripped. Stems broken.
Everyone gasps and haiyoh's and OMG's.
and then instead of reaching for the spades to rescue poor pokai-ed plant, everyone instantly whips out canggified poket cameras and plays paparazzo to the horror scene in front of us.

Pfft.
Typical.

Poor plant will be scarred for life thanks to our merciless doings.
She'll never want to stand on a window ledge ever again.
Or show anyone her full bloom of boomz.
Or endure any sort of picture-taking.

i dun think photosynthesis is gonna cover up this wound anytime soon.
We have damaged her beyond stem cell regeneration.

Where is the love ppl?
Where is the love?

is this what mother nature deserves?

GLOOMZ IS BOOMZ

Woke up to an awesome gloomy sunless saturday which absolutely gave me the peace of mind i needed after these few weeks of workshit mashup.

Gazed up at the dark clouds and instantly knew that the lightning flashes and thunder roars in the distance were telling me to stay down and enjoy the cool breezy morning. I had a moments worth of blissful silence (in a thunder-clapping rain-approaching sorta way) before i dragged myself out of bed to make breakfast for the groaning tummy.

Went down the MiniMart and got myself eggs and nuggets for a morning pickerupper.
I know.
Nuggets.
Fried.
Oily and crunchy and all kinds of unhealthy.
Just the way i luv em.

So 2 splats of Mayo and a splotch of chilli sauce later.
I'm good to go for a 9am episode of LOST in my surprisingly unstuffified room. (it's usually an oven by 10am)

I'm starting to really believe what the online Fandoms are saying about how no matter what conclusion LOST gives us, it will never be enough to fully justify the whole series. Sad but true.
I am already feeling the pinch of unsatisfactory dismay when prominent characters are starting to get booted out of the major plot so random and instantaneously that they hold no weight whatsoever to the buildup background stories the writers have so nicely carved in our loyal naive minds. cis.

ANYWAY.

I was treated to a pleasant visual enlightening moment when the housebunneigh presented me a plate of Lychee in the mids of my FRINGE season 2 finale during lunch later on.
FYI i have never before in my life seen or touched an actual lychee in physical form before.
Therefore, visibly facinated and wide eyed i was when it came to my attention (and room).

Had to take photo.
Was ooing and ahhing while snapping away.

looks like a shaved rambutan.

Day came to a very very beautiful end when i couldnt help but lepak alone at the balcony of the 18th floor rainbowblock and bask in the post-gloomy sunset unfolding before my eyes.

Once again.
Had to take photo.

Looks very much like the V season finale sky actually.
Prepare for invasion.

We are of peace. Always.

BOOMZ.

GREENS OF MY GARDEN

I have a balcony with some space.
I have converted some portions of that space into habitats of potted greens.
Potted greens are nice to look at and they make me feel happy and relaxed and non-suicidal.

see. you dont feel like slitting your wrist or drinking rat poison right?

Here are more of the green stuffs that i like staring at while my mind sings haunting emo tunes from the New Moon soundtrack.

Sometimes, the green-growing viny stuff that look strangely like mutated barb wires tend to attract other life forms that attach themselves to them and start reproducing.

its a bird's nest.
i was contemplating harvesting it and making Pelangi birdsnest soup.

the vines grew so long they started invading my southern neighbour's balcony.

And then there are the green stuff that somehow start cultivating their own creativity and begin growing in their own twisted way. bending the rules. trying to break out of the green norm society.

they're not straight.
i am unsure if society will accept them the way they are.

How does your garden grow?

STONIE'S BUFFED

Its been awhile since i last declared my undying love and awe for StonieGar but i assure you, the fire still burns strong.

Dannysius De Housemate seems to have grown pretty fond of the spotted croc-o-fish too.

He's been making frequent trips to PetsWonderland in SS15 and he's really been taking the initiative on bringing Stonie's food supply to the next level. He's so supportive I'm beginning to think he and i are starting to have issues on who gets to rub their foreheads on the aquarium glass more often when we stare at Stonie.

We attempted live kicking croakables few years ago but Stonie's helljaws were still too puppified to handle the fugly atrociousness of the puny amphibians.

2 years and alotta jaw workouts later.
Stonie's in better shape then ever.

Fresh Kermits devoured.

Look how adorable the lil fella clings onto/into his dying prey like those softoys we give our puppy doggy friends. Isnt he just the cutest thing you've ever laid eyes on?

He gets even cuter when you see him chew and tear the living guts out of that croaksome spoilt Prince Naveen.

Everybody say "Awwww."

As in. Awwwwsome!

RAINBOW in RAINBOW

7-colour Pelangi appeared in Pelangi. (cause we stay in, like, this place called PELANGI Damansara. Get it? Get it? Yeah. You better.)

So we ended up doing Pinocchio shadows.

With fingers.

And tongues.

Rainbows in Rainbow rock.

Heart skipped a beat when i spotted this slid under our apartment door the other day.

10th June. Can. Not. Wait.
Obviously, this proves the existence of an almighty God who watches over our dire needs and bottomless stomachs and never-ending cravings for delivery food.
He knows our hearts and he knows that our sorry asses are just too damn lazy to walk out and dabau food for ourselves. Hallelujah.

I've already ranted about how much i blamed mr. mamakman for closing down his restaurant 4 months ago, and have since succumbed to the temptations of McD and OldTown delivery for rebound.

Thank god the chains are about to be broken.
Sorry Otown. Sorry McD. It's not you it's me.

~
Managed to catch some pretty amusing movies to curb the weekend enthusiasm.
And it felt guuueeed...

Ghost Town was interesting and pleasant.

Some funny moments here and there and the movie's heart is where it should be.
Pleasant. Quite nice.

Lesbian Vampire Killers was surprisingly funy.

So thing is, i downloaded this one not knowing ANYTHING about the show.
Just thought the title seemed interesting. Heh. *wriggle brow*
Turns out - British movie.
Am not particularly fond of Brit humour but these guys really make it work lorrr.
Me likes and me was laughing head off in some deliberate corny B-grade horror scenes and punchy Brit-accented lines
Time not wasted.

They Wait wasn't bad.

Until it hit the end.
Then i was shaking head going "what were they thinking?!......"
Typical hollywood ghost flick. OKok la. Not too bad.

Frida was nice.

Yes.
Old movie.
New watcher.
Can or not?!
Unibrow Salma Hayek gave good acting.
No wonder la she kena nominated for Oscar.

Then i managed to catch Monsters VS Aliens in 3D in ONE U and played lampost to the Shyng and the Jook.

I had already planed to intercept the attendees' seating area and was going to force-sandwich myself between them so to avoid any unintended hankypanky from happening before my innocent eyes. But obviously, the 2 had other plans. And u know la 2 VS 1. HOW TO WIN?!?!

Aih.

Anyway Monstas VS Aliens wasnt good la.
Mediocre to say the least.
Or maybe the 3d glasses just didnt do it for me.
Nothing much that was new or funny.
Disappointed cuz i am a big big sucker for anything with the word "Monsters","Aliens" and "VS".

Freddie VS Jason.
Blanka VS ChunLi.
Subzero VS Scorpion
Marvel VS Capcom.
Shyng VS Shyong.

I miss Mortal Kombat and other mindless uncomplicated beat-em-up games for the PC.
I miss executing finger-numbing Fatalities on keyboard and doing super kengchau 40 hit combos during round 2. :(

And to make things worse,
tmrw's a friggin Monday.

Bullocks.
